With front access terminals and small footprint, the batteries are ideal for racked systems. Similarly, these batteries can help solve limited floor space and access problems on board boats and vehicles. AGM technology AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries the electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates by capillary action. Low self-discharge Because of the use of lead calcium grids and high purity materials, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored during long periods of time without recharge. The rate of self-discharge is less than 2% per month at 20°C. The self-discharge doubles for every increase in temperature with 10°C. Low internal resistance Accepts very high charge and discharge rates. High cyclic life capability More than 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.

The Peak Power Pack is a complete substitute for heavy lead acid batteries in applications where high currents occur for short time. Being primarily meant for caravan movers, it is equipped with a built-in charger allowing charging from the vehicle electrical system whilst travelling with the caravan. This way the pack will be fully charged upon arrival to the camping site. If necessary, the charging is possible using the supplied adapter via a grid outlet. Charging from a solar panel is also possible.

The Lithium SuperPack batteries are extremely easy to install, not needing any additional components.The internal switch will disconnect the battery in case of over discharge, over charge or high temperature.The Lithium SuperPack batteries can be connected in parallel. Series connection is not allowed.

VRLA AGM: design life 7-10 years VRLA GEL: design life 12 yearsThe AGM range has very low internal resistance making them particularly suitable for high current discharge applications such as for inverters, thrusters and winches. The GEL model range offers best deep cycle durability and overall longer life. The use of high purity materials and lead calcium grids ensure that for both AGM and GEL products have particularly low self-discharge so that they will not go flat during long periods without charge. Both ranges are supplied with M8 drilled, flat copper terminals ensuring best possible connection contact and eliminating the need for battery terminals. The Victron AGM Super Cycle Battery is designed for applications that involve frequent deep discharges.Thanks to improvements in battery electrochemistry, it resists sulfation and plate softening, even after repeated 100% depth of discharge (DoD) cycles.Tests have shown that Super Cycle batteries can withstand at least 300 full 100% DoD cycles. This makes them a reliable choice for mobile, off-grid and marine applications where occasional full discharges or frequent partial discharges are expected.

Replacing the active material of the negative plate by a lead carbon composite potentially reduces sulfation and improves charge acceptance of the negative plate.The advantages of lead carbon therefore are:Less sulfation in case of partial state-of-charge operation.Lower charge voltage and therefore higher efficiency and less corrosion of the positive plate.And the overall result is improved cycle life.

The Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series connected 12V batteries, or of several parallel strings of series connected batteries. When the charge voltage of a 24V battery system increases to more than 27V, the Battery Balancer will turn on and compare the voltage over the two series connected batteries. The Battery Balancer will draw a current of up to 1A from the battery (or parallel connected batteries) with the highest voltage. The resulting charge current differential will ensure that all batteries will converge to the same state of charge.If needed, several balancers can be paralleled.A 48V battery bank can be balanced with three Battery Balancers.
